Info overkill but great book nevertheless

I heard the author speak a few years ago and was bowled over by all the information he covered. I concluded he was either a phenomenal salesman or he was truly an exceptional student of the market. i bought this book as well as one of his other two(?). I knew that if i truly wanted to digest what he presented I had to be committed to studying his techniques. Frustration reigned and interruptions only served to hamper my understanding. Fianlly, after losing countless dollars on sham techniques I learned at seminars and reading books by others I was determined to give the author a serious try. I have never regretted this decision. While nothing is perfect in the investment business I can certainly represent that the author's ideas are fresh, innovative, original and and have enhanced by trading performance markedly. Sure I still have losers and nothing is infallible but his techniques are the closest I have come to providing me with the knowledge and game plan to be a successful trader. Yes, I am making money, lots of it. No, I am not going to share what of his many tools have I found to be the most helpful. That is your job and if for no other reason, it is because some of the methods I may have found to be not to my liking may very well be suited to you and trading psyche. In any case, welcome to the world of a one of a kind trading mind. The author is special and so are his indicators.

This book is exceptional for traders

I am here at the IFTA conference and the market trading models on Bloomberg are the talk of the seminar. These indicators are described in detail in this book as well as the author's other two books. These are not the typical tupe of trading tools that most all traders use and trade unsuccessfully. If our trading desk and portfolio managers had their preference they wish that nobody would use these trading models. That appears not to be the case since everyone seems to be using them. Since the techniques are designed to operate totally the opposite to all other trading devices they become a discipline that contols one's emeotiuons when oen trades. In that regard alone these methods are exceptional.

I recommend strongly this book as well as the author's other two books.

Worth it for chapter #1

TD suppy and demand lines. If I only knew before the rules for trendlines I would have save a lot of time and wasted effort. I can't comment on this book past chapter #1 as I've not gone any further. However, this book is worth the purchase many times over just for the proper explaination of trendlines. As this book was recommended to me for the first 2 chapters, I will also recomend it if only for the first. Before I could look at the same chart of a currency pair and "see" different trend lines. Oh, I think that is one. But now I will look at the same chart and see the same trendlines every time. This goes a long way to making trading a repeatable, measurable proccess... essential to success.

High-quality book, just as the previous, 2016 edition

A very helpful and well-designed book. I'm currently using it to prepare for October's New SAT. When I first bought the book, it was written that there were 6 tests, but arrived the book with 4 tests, so I was a little disappointed. Fortunately, I ordered one more book that offered additional tests (it's called Kallis' SAT Pattern just in case).

Directing a storeroom staff of more than two dozen, Mr. Matthews is responsible for all purchases on the college's Hyde Park, NY campus, including more than $6.5 million of food products for the college each year. Mr. Matthews and his staff must assure the value of those purchases through proper receipt, evaluation, storage, and timeliness of deliveries. He also oversees the distribution to the 41 kitchens and bakeshops of all food coming into the CIA campus.

Paul Wigsten is the produce buyer at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, NY. Mr. Wigsten also owns and operates Wigsten Farm in Pleasant Valley, NY with his family. In 2002, Wigsten Farm was awarded the Agri-Business Award by the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation. Along with Mr. Matthews, Mr. Wigsten was awarded the 2006 Glynwood Harvest Good Neighbor Award.

Excellent basic reference for produce

As a CIA student, I was issued this book as the text for our class on produce product knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell the authors get real joy out of describing an item, when it's in season, how it should look and taste, etc...This book doesn't contain recipes, but occasionally one of the authors will mention a simple way to prepare an item that sounds delicious. Some of the more exotic or obscure items (to the US market) aren't in the book, but this is a very solid offering that covers 90+% of the produce the average person will eat.

Will leave You Begging For More

No expense was spared in the telling of this intricate and depraved tale of untold humiliations, heaped upon hedonistic excesses and forcefully blanketed with the wicked intentions and manipulations of excessively messed up, extraordinarily rich and certifiably insane family. This book, with it's clever twists, well developed characters, and highly imagined scenery will run you through the gamut of your emotions, from fear, anxiety, anger, outrage, fulfillment, anguish, hope and more, as you find yourself sucked into each character's torments and small victories.

I'm not sure it would ever have occurred to me to wonder what it would feel like to be tortured, in sensitive areas, by the feel of an airbrush coating me in a decorative layer of false skin so my assets could be best displayed. Or how it would feel to breathe underwater, using experimental technology funded by the warped mind of a wealthy sexual deviant, while being teased by masked and anonymous divers at every turn. Or even how it would feel to be harnessed into a living carousel, for the amusement of others, while being forced to hold a "carrot" between my teeth. But these are the types of things that you will find in C.P. Mandara's lavishly depicted, extravagant world of debauchery, hedonism, duplicity, machinations and revenge.

Once the seeds have been planted, it is hard to keep them from growing. The author's inventive, creative imagination and knack for portraying sexual excess and taboo in such a highly detailed way that it brings reality to them and breathes life into them, will have you expanding the kink portion of your brain and stretching it to its limits.

I won't give away the ending of this dark and lusty tale, but I will say that the culmination of this series, rather than leaving you fulfilled and sated, will leave you begging for more of the same depraved, wicked, tortured treatment, at its masterful reins.

The Ties That Bind: Enduring Imaginative Bondage and BDSM (Pony Tales Book 6) I was gifted this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved it! I found it intriguing and the well-written sex scenes are sizzling hot! Jennifer will never be the same after these life-changing experiences. I've read all of the Pony Tales and this final one did not disappoint. C.P. Mandera wove yet another amazing tale that left me wanting more! Book 7 please?? If you love dark, hot sex, you don't want to miss this one!

Tortuously hot!

The blurb for this book reeled me in. The warning from the publisher should have kept me away. Mind you, the book is captivating. The characters are complex, the scenes are described in breath-taking detail, so much so that if this were a movie, it’d be up for a cinematography award, and the story moves at a quick pace. Also true, I have not read other books in the series, so I did feel a bit out of sorts, trying to figure out all the relationships, but it wasn’t too bad for starting at book six. With patience, I feel like I got to understand most of the backstory.
I enjoy erotica, regardless of the gender of the participants. That’s important because there are many different gender combinations in various multiples throughout the story. I’m totally cool with BDSM, though it’s quite heavy here, so be forewarned. Non-consensual is not really my thing, which was a big issue in this case because so much of the action in The Ties That Bind is non-consensual. Pony-play, um, absolutely don’t get it, at all. Again, if it’s your thing, awesome, but it kept me from being able to fully connect with the book. And, it ends with what is pretty much a cliff-hanger, and that irks me.
So, what does all of this mean for a recommendation? Definitely heed the publisher’s warning. This is a DARK novel, with some pretty kinky and fetishy stuff going on, beyond the typical kink and fetish. Odd to say, I know. But, it is erotic, too. And it’s very well written. It’s not my thing, but if it’s yours, I’d say read this book. I can honestly recommend it to the right audience. Four stars out of five.
